Thankful for Spring

The last couple of days I have taken some time out to be still in my garden. To listen to the bird song, bring my prayers to God, and enjoy the sun bathing the spring flowers.

‘The flowers are springing up, the season of singing birds has come,
and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air.

Song of Soloman 2:12 NLT

Thankful for spring

As we enjoy being still with the Sun of Righteousness, the scent of spring and grace fills the air. As gardens begin to wake from their winter slumber, how is your spirit today? Do you need to take time and be still with the Prince of Peace?

Please join me in prayer

Heavenly Father, I am thankful for the wondrous season of spring. As the green and pleasant land wakes from it’s winter slumber, I pray that my relationship with You will grow new shoots of faith. May I be fruitful for You. Help me to remain steadfast and strong under Your protection. Help me to take time out to be still with You and listen to Your voice on the wind.
In Your name,
Amen

What are you thankful for?

Anita

Hi, nice to meet you :) As well as Scattering the Stones ministry I also co-run Hope Flourishes ministry, with Salina. My heart's desire is to share God's love and His message of hope, particularly with those who are hurting. I love nature; as I see God’s hand in creation as a mark of His love for us. I design cards with the hope to brighten someone's day. I am also a children’s author, running an anti-bullying campaign to encourage children to tell someone if they are being bullied. For more information please see my about page and manifesto.
If this post blessed you, please share it - thanks

  1. Like you, I’m thankful for the coming spring. Although still cold in my area, I’m looking forward to the warmth and blooming of flowers I know is on the way. Thanks for a lovely post.
